Thames Valley Police

Marston neighbourhood update

Non-emergency contact number

You should now ring 101 for all non-emergency matters.

This number has replaced the previous 0845 number, which is no longer available.

Calls to 101 (from both landlines and mobile networks) cost 15 pence per call, no matter what time of day the call is made, or the duration of the call.

The local police e-mail address is:

MarstonNHPT@thamesvalley.pnn.police.uk

but please note that this address cannot be used to contact Thames Valley Police to report crimes or for any urgent matters.

You can provide the police with information anonymously by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Crimestoppers
are NOT part of the police.  They are an independent charity working to fight crime by passing on to the police information that's been given to them anonymously.   If you call them, you will not be asked for your name, address or phone number.   You will be given a code number to quote, in case you wish to call them again to give further information.  You will not be obliged to sign any kind of statement or appear in court.

To view information on your neighbourhood team you can visit the force website at:  www.thamesvalley.police.uk

Bicycle thefts

Police teams in Headington and East Oxford have set up a dedicated email address at

        eastoxfordbikedatabase@thamesvalley.pnn.police.uk

where people can provide officers with details about their [stolen] bike, including frame number, colour, make and distinguishing features.

These details will be loaded onto a database, which will be consulted when a suspected thief is stopped riding a bike.
