Seven Fields Conservation Group
is a voluntary, community group.
 
its aims are to
 
Preserve and conserve the Seven Fields
Nature Reserve,
North Swindon
 
To Involve local people in caring for the
Seven Fields Nature Reserve
 
To help implement the  
    Wiltshire Wildlife Trust Management Plan
through the work of volunteers
 
To promote the proper use of the Seven Fields
 
To promote the advancement      
of education for volunteers in      
 all conservation matters
 
To promote the education and awareness of the general public to the importance of
Seven Fields Nature Reserve

The 1990 Co-operative Society Award for working with communities. Swindon Area and Oxford and Swindon Area.
 
The 1991 Barclays National Urban Oasis Campaign for Working with Communities in Towns and Cities.
 
The 1992 Colonel Sanders Environmental Awards. Certificate of Commendation.

(Gaining LNR for the area made everything else seem superfluous and putting in for awards became very expensive so we took the decision not to try again)
