My Homework Week 6

Review of LVSOnline Level I

I have learned a lot in this course. Now I want to continue on to Level II.
I am hoping to make some pages on Machine Knitting. This has been one of my main interests since I first saw a knitting machine over xxxx years ago. At this moment the craft is in decline but there are still new people becoming interested and I hope to encourage them to learn the skills required to produce beautiful garments that would cost more than we could afford to pay in the stores.

Validation

Validation is an important part of writing HTML. Pages should always be run through a validator. Mistakes will be found and you will then correct them and become more familiar with what is required

Structural Tags

Structural Tags are needed to make your pages work. With few exceptions all tags must be opened and closed. If more than one tag is opened they must be closed in the reverse order that they were opened.

Images

Images make your pages more interesting to the viewer. Width and height must always be inside the<img>tag. Thumbnails, small sized images, can be used on your pages and the viewer can click on them to view the full sized image.

Tables

Basic tables consist of three sets of tags, table, tr and td.
You need one<table>tag to open and one</table>tag to close.
In between the table tags you have rows,<tr>
and inside each row there data cells.<td>
A row </tr>must be closed before opening another.
A cell </td>must be closed before opening another.
