The map will help you to get an idea of where things are. As a rough guide of distance Cogolin is about 10 minutes from Pachacaid in light traffic conditions. However, in high season traffic can be very heavy as you approach the La Foux roundabout so wherever you are going try to set off by 09.00 at the latest. This will also be of benefit when visiting markets which become quite crowded from mid-morning onwards. |

| To
cater for your immediate shopping needs there is a grocery shop on site,
which is open daily from 0800 - 1200 and 1600 - 1930. They offer
a take-away service from 1700 with roast chicken, pizza, chips etc.
There is a “Petit Casino” supermarket in La Mole called 'Vival' which has long opening hours and a good range of food and wine at reasonable prices. There is also a Boulangerie Artisanale that makes some delicious speciality breads, savoury tarts and cakes. For more advanced shoppers there are excellent shops in Cogolin, just a few miles distant. As you enter Cogolin coming from La Mole, having left the main road (N98) at the first opportunity, you will come to a "T" junction. Right in front of you is Le Clerq, a large super-market. They stock a good range of food, wine and all manner of other interesting bits at good prices. For the even more dedicated there is a Giant Casino hypermarket at the La Foux roundabout which has an enormous range of goodies and has a number of smaller shops and boutiques within the same complex. For the real professionals take a trip to 'Grand Var' a huge area of hypermarkets and shops of different kinds which is situated just off the A57 near La Vallette at the back of Toulon (about 35 mins away). Just leave the Autoroute at junction 5 and follow the signs for 'Centre Commerciale'.

| St
Tropez
has some beautiful shops but, of course with beautiful
prices. As well as the older shopping streets and alleys there are
some new arcades housing shops with superb window displays and all the
designer names that 'haute couture' can offer. Combine this with
the rather flamboyant atmosphere and the lovely little street cafes and
it makes for an interesting, if expensive shopping expedition.
Ste Maxime is also well stocked with bustling little streets packed with interesting shops and there are some excellent cafes on the seafront to sit and sip and watch the world go by.

| Markets | |||||||||||||||||||||
As
you can see the markets in this part of France are awash with colour.
The vivid traditional Provencal materials make a wonderful backdrop to
all the interesting goods on offer whilst the spice and soap stalls fill
the air with wonderful aromatic smells.
If you wanted to do you could visit a local market on each day of the week. Here is a list of market days in nearby villages.
