How To Get There
Airlines & Ferries         Car Hire          Overnight Stops

Pachacaid Holiday Village is situated near the village of La Mole, just off the N98 between Cogolin and Toulon.  It is about 10 miles from St Tropez and lies in the 'Massif des Maures', a range of wooded mountains which run down to the sea. The nearest beach is at Canadel which is about 20 minutes by car over the beautiful Col du Canadel.

The journey to Pachacaid can be made via cross channel ferry and road, or by air via Nice Airport.  Although it is possible to reach La Mole by public transport from the Airport it involves train and several buses.  Car hire can be arranged for cars to be picked up at the Airport. ( There are taxis to and from the Airport - but these can be expensive)

By Road

1.   From your chosen arrival point in France, make your way to Paris.  From Paris take the Autoroute du Sud, A6 to Lyon. (From Calais the easiest route is via the A26 to Reims, Troyes and Dijon, then on to Lyon, avoiding the Paris traffic.)

2.    At Lyon the Autoroute changes to the A7  in the direction of Marseille  and Aix en Provence, head for Aix en Provence.

3.    From Aix en Provence the road becomes the A8 in the direction of Nice which you should take.

4.   Continue towards Nice and after passing Junction 35 (Brignoles) take the next exit, which is un-numbered,  signposted to le Luc and the A57 toToulon.

5.    Do not stay on the A57 but follow the signs for la Garde Freinet and Grimaud on the D558

6.      Follow the D558  which climbs rather tortuously up to and through la Garde Freinet, through a pretty wooded valley.  Continue on and through Grimaud until you reach a roundabout where you will take the first exit (still the D558) to Cogolin.  (It is worth taking note of Grimaud on the way through – a pretty and historic village to which you may wish to return).

7.      Pass through Cogolin following the signs for Toulon and the N98 . At Cogolin the route takes you past a Le Clerq supermarket where you can pick up supplies ‘en route’ if you wish

8.      Proceed on the N98 heading south west towards la Mole and Toulon and after about 10 minutes you will see a small Airstrip on your left.  At the far end of the Airstrip are a few hangars and immediately after these (and just before the village of la Mole) take a turning on the left which is the D27 to Canadel and Rayol.  It is also signposted to Niagra Water Park and Pachacaid Holiday Village.

By Air

It is possible to fly to Nice airports.  From Nice to Pachacaid  it is about 90 minutes.  Easyjet, British Airways and other airlines fly to Nice.

From Nice Airport take the Autoroute A8  in the direction of Aix en Provence.  After passing Junction 36 (Draguignan and St Maxime) take the next exit, which is un-numbered,  signposted to le Luc and the A57 toToulon.  Then proceed from step 5 above. N.B. On the map it may look quicker to take the St Maxime road,  but in the high season the traffic on this route can be very heavy.
