The BOF Mapping Conference

(14-16 November 1997) was great with some very informative sessions particularly from the star guest Hans Steinegger, the author of OCAD.

Brief review to follow, also scanning tips, new utilities and ISOM 2000 report. Call back!

BOF MAPPING CONFERENCE 1997    Initial report

As usual Peter Roberts has put together another excellent conference with something to help and inform all the participants.     It has been a particular pleasure to meet Hans Steinegger, the author of OCAD, who has single handedly transformed orienteering mapping. His presentation, workshops have been extremely informative and make OCAD6 easy to use and future programs a really interesting prospect.

There will be a conference report compiled by Jonathan Sutcliffe, send your contribution to him within the next week please. Also don't forget to keep those articles going to Keith Streb for MAP&NAV, all mapping articles and letters are needed, not just OCAD tips.

Update January 1998  Photos and review in the January issue of  CompassSport, please visit and say thanks

Nice one Ned!

Update April 1998  Course report published by Jon Sutcliffe.
