Defined as point symbol 701.0, can be drawn with any drawing tool.
This is a rotatable symbol, it can be rotated with the direction tool and will rotate with the map if the “include symbols” box is checked when the map is turned.
Care when drawing is needed, a click will place the symbol; a click with drag will rotate the symbol in the direction of the drag.
The triangle must point to the first control (or to a crossing point, around an out-of-bounds area or to the start of a compulsory marked route, if any fall before control one), and be precisely centred at the maps or start marker.
Drag from the centre of the start to the first control every time a new course is produced.
