Yellow is used vegetation symbols. Many symbols use yellow.
There are three versions of yellow in the default OCAD colour table:
Yellow colour number 9 used by symbols 401, 402, 412, 413, 415
Yellow 50% colour number 10 used by symbols 211, 403, 404,
Yellow 20% colour number 16 not used by the default symbols
There are also three dual colours which include yellow defined in the default OCAD colour table:
Yellow 100%/Green 50% colour number 12 used by symbol Settlement (527)
Yellow 50%/Green 50% colour number 27 not used by the default symbols
Yellow 50%/Green 20% colour number 28 not used by the default symbols
The Pantone Matching System is one of the colour models used by commercial printers.
IOF Specifications define the following colours, their approximate CMYK (process colour) translations are given:-
