Specifications

Was ISOM1990 - 515, removed from ISOM2000.

ISOM 1990 Definition

A ride or firebreak, wider than 5m. The edges are shown with the symbol for a vegetation boundary (416). The appropriate yellow or green screen should be used to fill in between the dotted lines for open or overgrown rides respectively.

Colour: black and yellow or green.

OCAD Methods

No symbol provided, use the distinct vegetation boundary and vegetation screens as necessary.

Drawing Considerations

If there are other features that are at or close to the ride edge, such as a boundary or path, then these take precedence over the distinct vegetation boundary.

Pictorial Descriptions

- BOF Rules, Appendix One
