OCAD Methods

No symbol is provided in the default.ocd symbol set. Use careful editing and the tips below to produce a smart junction:-

Drawing Considerations

Run the main, straighter path, often the side path is not clear even though running on the side path brings you onto the main path with no difficulty

Path junctions can often be improved with the careful use of the cutting and reverse tools or by adding a node close to the junction.

In OCAD version 7- Use the new dash point node at the junction.

Paths should not be left like this:-      This may be taken as an indistinct junction.

Optimisation should not be taken to extremes:-      there should always be a gap close to the junction.
