While preparing to transport a deadly plague to a research lab, the crew is stunned by the announcement of Counsellor Troi's pregnancy. Her child develops at an incredible rate, growing in a day the amount a human child would grow in a year.

Elementary, Dear Data
In frustration at the ease with which Data solves apparently complex Sherlock Holmes mysteries, Geordi programs the Enterprise computer to create a worthy advisory for Data. The result is a self-aware hologram (Professor Moriarty) who takes control of the ship and threatens Dr. Pulaski's life (and, also, far more seriously, offers to fill her with hot crumpets!).
