Thank you for visiting my homepage (and hope you wont regret *grin*:o). I would like to say hello to all my
close friends, my email-friends, my parents, sister, anyone that knows
me and everyone who studied in
Clydebank High School!
As a post graduate student at
Uni of Glasgow
,I am working in Opto-Electronics department under supervision of
Professor C.N.Ironside where I design and fabricate "Colliding pulse mode-lock" lasers.
I am now in my final year but still working towards getting results I require to successfully achieve
my PhD. About University of Glasgow, it's
simply an excellent university with a great history and stunning Gothic looking
building structures. I graduated from same Uni. with a 2:1 in Bachelors of
Engineering back in July 1998 after 4 hectic but adventurous years. In 1996, my
classmates elected me as Engineering Club secretary where I was responsible
in arranging cheese and wine parties as well as managing the Engineering
homepage on the Internet.
I have been babbling for so long but forgot to mention what
this homepage is all about! I guess everyone who knows me know just how much I
am into Star Trek especially the " Star Trek
"
series which I think is immaculately brilliant. I like Star Trek because its so
different from any other program on the TV. One thing that I personally like
most about Star Trek are the ethical issues that it covers as they are so close
what we go through in our daily lives. But beside the serious and technological
side Star Trek also has a humorous side to it which is very enjoyable to watch.
Beside this my hobbies include playing pool, badminton, making new
friends, clubbing, going out with my friends, soccer, listening to chart/dance music, watching sci-fi related
programs like Red Dwarf, 3rd Rock from the Sun and B&W movies. That’s all
from me. Bye/ Live long and prosper...
