GAA Luton Member Design Chosen For Mahasabha 2004 Directory
GAKM Directory 2004 Cover Page by Shilpa Shashikant Chauhan |
We are glad to announce that a member of Gujarati Arya Association Luton has won a competition
in which her design was chosen to be the front cover of the 2004 Mahasabha Address Directory. Her design will be the first image that all Mochi Community members will see when they receive their Directories later this summer. It was agreed in a past Mahasabha meeting that the design of the front page for new directory would be opened up to members of the Mochi community throughout the United Kingdom. Shilpa Shashikant Chauhan produced six unique, stunning and amazing designs which were presented to the Mahasabha, and we are very proud to say that one of those were chosen to be used for the face of the directory, which will not only be distributed nationally within the UK but will also be sent throughout the world. Gujarati Arya Association Luton would like to congratulate Shilpa for both volunteering and being chosen. We are sure that readers will do the same, it makes us proud that members of the Luton Community are willing to take part and assist the samaj in all areas. |
