IMPORTANT NOTE. This is not a "swish" site, with the psychedelic "bells and whistles" that seem to be the most important feature that people look for these days on websites. If you are looking for that style of website, don't waste your time on this one! We have no time to spare (waste?) on such finesse simply to please the eye. We have tried to present the plain TRUTH in a plain, simple and straightforward style without distracting "gimmicks".
TRUTH - AND CONTROVERSY?
You are the
What there is we hope is both -
(A) accurate and
(B) interesting - sufficient for you to "read, learn and inwardly
digest" the very fundamental and significant implications that lay behind
the evidence we present. They are, indeed, life-changing and eternal in
their importance.
Some (several?) of the articles in this website are, in varying degrees, controversial. To me, there seems to be little point in writing on any subject on which the majority of people agree. What is badly needed is for truths, that have often been deliberately hidden from the public (such as creation, but many other subjects as well) need to be brought before the public's attention. Whilst many are critical of accepted ways, my real aim is to strip away the heavy overlays of worldly dross that have insidiously infiltrated the church, often by well-meaning Christians over many years, so that the glorious truths of God may be more clearly revealed.
In doing so, much that I have written is not my own thinking on any subject, but simply publicising the experimental results and conclusions of those who are experts in science, medicine, history etc. and who are far cleverer than myself. As they invariably contradict general public opinion, they are bound to be labelled "controversial" - with the implication that they should not to be taken too seriously!
In all this, TRUTH is a primary aim, for, ultimately we will all be held responsible for what we believe, and then in the light of that then act; 1 Cor. 3:11-15.
Christ himself said -
"Ye shall know the TRUTH, and the TRUTH shall make you free" [John 8:32]
Adrian Rogers encapsulated this when he said -
"...It is better to be divided by Truth than united in error; It is better to tell Truth that hurts and then heals than to tell a lie; It is better to be hated for telling the Truth than to be loved for telling a lie; It is better to stand alone with Truth than to be wrong with the multitude..." - a not unfamiliar situation!
AN AWARD!!!
Despite the dire warnings given above, this humble and simple homepage received
a "Links2go Resource" award from an organisation that inspects homepages for
those most representative of their topic and for their indexing and organising
the links on the pages !!! Apparently this is given to fewer than 1/1,000 pages.
Quite how they determined this site should qualify is a mystery to me! On their
sheet for creation are many creation sites. I could not see this site on it,
however. For what it is worth, I present the badge here.

Christmas Joke sheets. Although the contents of this site cover many very serious issues, I can assure readers that I have a very highly developed sense of humour (ask my friends - I can give references!) For some 30 years I have sent out 4-A4 sheets of jokes that I have collected over the previous year(s) to friends and business colleagues. I thought I would share them with whoever might appreciate my sense of humour. Rather than make a special section for them I have placed them (rather incongrously) at the end of the "Essays" section. 16 February 2007. Seriously depressed Christian helped out of depression by BAGFY.
I have been criticised by some that as I have never been deeply depressed, I have no right to counsell others! Here is someone (HC) who WAS deeply depressed but came out from it after reading BAGFY. He wants to help others and gives his email address and will then give his telephone number.
