Hi I’m Sarah Hughes a Contemporary Knitwear Designer at present I am establishing my business, based in Brighton. I make knitted products with a mixture of machine and hand knitted fabrics.

I am currently working on a range of chunky hand knitted fashion accessories and garments using reclaimed materials. I produce eco-friendly products by reusing all types of materials, my products provide a small solution to what can be done with your unwanted materials in a stylish and practical way. I am very aware of how the textile industry needs to be more conscious of its carbon foot print, everyone needs to do there bit for global warming.
