We've
only just returned from our trip to the US and this is the first opportunity to say thanks for letting us rent your house. It was very comfortable for what we needed - a quick dose of The Magic and some retail therapy. The children also very much enjoyed the pool and the spa (I'm not sure they have forgiven us yet for only telling them about the Spa on their last day.) Thanks again. |
Pleased you all enjoyed your time at the villa and the last day at the Spa! |

My family
and I had a great time in your villa. We stayed for 16 days last December/January and we had a great time! It was my niece's birthday during our stay and we had breakfast at Chef Mickey and she became Cinderella at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. It is a great experience and I am sure she will never forget. I certainly recommened it. It was the first time my parents had travelled from Brazil to go to the USA and they really loved Orlando. A very special day was at Discovery Cove and we have great pictures! We were able to do some barbecuing at the villa and we had a great time in the heated pool. The villas is very comfortable and has plenty of space for 8. I wish to go back soon! |
That must
have been so exciting for your niece to become Cinderella. A little girls dream! Discovery Cove is a fantasic day out for all ages. I know you were planning this very special vacation for your family for a long time and I am so pleased everyone had such a great time. |

Everything
we could what for two weeks was provided, the bedrooms and living space was lovely. Fantastic master bedroom with big bathroom and walk in shower. Lovey pool in quiet location. Best of all the villa is ideally positioned for easy access to International Drive. We all had a fantastic holiday and thanks for all the pre-information, directions and helpful advice before we left. |
Thank you
for your comments. I am delighted everything was what you expected and more. Travelling out to and driving around Florida can seem daunting and I am pleased the information was helpful and re-assuring. |

Flying
for the first time to the States and going through all of the security checks was not as intimidating as we first though, so that was a great start to our holiday. The heat, however, was more difficult to get used too!! The villa was found easily, thanks to Jackie's directions, and the villa was great. The management company, however, did not react to a problem as quickly as they said they would - but that's another story. The Parks were easy to find and we loved every minute all though we would have needed an extra week or so to get around everything we wanted and I am sure we will be back at some point to do so! |
Thanks
for your reassurances regarding arrival into the US. For first time visitors to the USA it can sound daunting. We have taken up the issue regarding the response time from our local management company. |

Great
villa, found it no problem thanks to the directions from Jackie. Found that the Wal-Mart just past the junction to US192 is a lot cheaper than the Publix. Had a great time at the parks, but always better to plan and get Fast Passes organised. You always could be doing with another week here! The previous comment about 'fast food' being 'slow food' is really accurate. Nobody seems to be in a hurry for anything! Had a great stay, hopefully will be back sometime! |
I agree
'Fast Passes' in Disney are a real benefit and, as a previous guest has mentioned, the 'Express Plus' tickets are worth the cost in the Universal Parks. |

Thanks
for a wonderful stay. We all had a really great time. We saw most of the Disney & Universal sights, though there is never enough time to see everything. We'll be back. |
We've
been out to Florida for many years (even before owning our own villa), and we haven't seen it all! |

Lovely
villa. Fantastic pool. We had a really good time staying here. As it was our first time in Florida it was nice to have the support from the Regal Palms Resort for directions etc. Handy to have the brilliant Publix Supermarket just up the road. Went to Magic Kingdom - very big park, need a full whole day to see this one! Also went to Blizzard Beach - don't try 'Summit Plummet' if you are of a nervous disposition!! Suggest that every park you visit, plan the day when you first arrive in the park using guide maps provided. Also, food in parks not that good (or maybe we weren't looking properly), so have the buffet breakfast at Ponderosa beforehand and take plenty of water, you'll need it! We loved our stay here and many thanks to Jackie for providing clear directions in her information pack and also for all the advice. |
I think
the Ponderosa buffet breakfast is slowly becoming world famous as pre-theme park fuel! Totally agree with you about Summit Plummet. My husband only went down it because our son (about 8 years old at the time) had just disappeared down the chute! |

Had a
really nice holiday in your lovely spacious villa! Unfortunately, for the first few days we had extremely cold weather - 2 t-shirts and 2 jumpers to keep warm! Regal Palms Resort pool and heated lazy river really good, however take-aways on site and locally were 'slow' food not 'fast' food. If you're missing some good old English food, try aisle 5 at Publix. Highlight of the holiday has to be swimming with the dolphins and rays at Discovery Cove near Sea World. Biggest disappointment was that Typhoon Lagoon Water Park was shut! If you want to see the Shamu Show at Sea World, make sure you get there 45+ minutes before the show is scheduled to start, as we missed out. We thouroughly enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to anyone. |
The words
'Florida' and 'frost' don't usually appear in the same sentance, but you certainly heard it during your first few days! However, pleased it didn't spoil your holiday. Thanks for the useful tips. |

Great
villa which made our stay in Orlando much easier. Everything you need for a good vacation is here, including internet access (Regal Palms). Thank you for the use of the villa. |
Pleased
to hear all went well with your busy schedule. |

Lovely
villa and pool (pool heat is great for this time of year). Quiet location, but still close to all the attractions. The new 'Soaring' ride at Epcot is excellent - best to get a Fast Pass as the waiting time is long. Best rollercoasters - 'The Hulk' at Islands of Adventure and 'The Mummy' at Universal. Shopping - We loved the Florida Mall, Millenia Mall (with Maceys and Bloomingdales), Premium Outlet Mall and the Prime Outlet Mall (previously known as Beltz). |
Must get
to Epcot on our next visit. Along with the fantasic 'Soaring' ride, The Living Seas area is continuing it's development with the 'Finding Nemo' theme with the newest addition 'Turtle Talk with Crush'. Pleased to hear you managed to get some retail therapy in between the parks! |

After
waiting years for this holiday, we arrived at your
villa and instantly felt at home. Had our best nights sleep ever in the HUGE bed!! Being our first, and probably only time, we tried to cram loads in, only wish we had come for 3 weeks! The kids loved the pool, and even Hurricane Wilma didn't spoil our stay. Would love to come back soon, to both Florida and your villa. Thanks very much. |
First
time to Florida can be overwhelming and difficult to know what to do and see. It sounds like you all had a super time and at least you were getting a good nights sleep between the hectic days! |

Thank you
for letting us share your villa. We have been 'self-catering' for 20 years and it doesn't get any better than this. We have enjoyed every minute of our stay, it has been a splendid experience, one which we would highly recommend to anyone. |

delighted to know that you enjoyed your first visit to Florida. |

Lovely
house, a calm haven away from the madness that is Orlando! Thanks. |
The peace
and quiet can be nice to get back to after a day in the Parks. |

We all
had a wonderful stay at your beautiful villa. Everything we needed was provided. The pool area was great - we had a really, really hot week! We also enjoyed the facilities at Regal Palms. The Lazy River was wonderful! We enjoyed Universal (both parks) and some of us also went to Disney MGM and Wet 'n' Wild Highly recommend the buffet at the Golden Coral, serveral locations. Thanks for all your help in making our vacation top knotch. We certainly would love to make a repeat performance. Cheers. |
Great to
hear you had a fantastic time and the weather was good for you. We look forward to welcoming you again in the future. |

The villa
is comfortable and spacious, as well as being well equipped. The local supermarket, Publix, has everything. The takeaways, Chinese and the Pizza, next to Publix are fine with huge portions. We have enjoyed Disney (again!), but Universal was a bit of a disappointment along with Islands of Adventure - too many extreme rides. The shopping at Beltz is good with plenty of bargains to be had. The Bass Pro shop, alias Outdoor World, is a fantastic store, full of outdoor type clothing, fishing equipment, golf equipment and hunting utilities. There is a massive aquarium full of fish - fed at 1.30pm every Wed, Sat & Sunday which is worth watching. Being a fisherman I thoroughly recommend Bill Whipple (tele no: 407 928 2529). Bill is great company, he provides all the fishing equipment and has a very fast fishing boat. I spent 2 fishing sessions with Bill (half day is about 5 hours, plenty in this heat) and we caught lots of gar and large bass. We also saw some alligators, osprey and lots of other wildlife. I say 'we', because I took my 14 year old son at no extra cost. We also took an airboat ride with Glades Adventures which was very enjoyable. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. |
Glad to
know you had a good time. Thank you for the useful fishing information, perhaps other guests will be in contact with Bill in the future. |

We truly
enjoyed our stay here. The house was in great shape and we love the resort pool area being so close. The house pool was great for the 3 year old who wanted to live in the water! We enjoyed Disney all over again, but were not so happy with Universal Islands of Adventure. The Orlando Watersports Complex water-ski park is cool! See ya again soon. |
Great to
hear you all had a brilliant time. I can understand that Universals I of A didn't cater for everyone. They seem to go for the fast and the furious. Pleased to see you got up to the water-skiing. |

Villa
fantastic and a great base for 'doing' the Theme Parks. Started with Gatorland, then Sea World, Discovery Cove, Busch Gardens, Universal, Wet & Wild & Disney (4 parks & Blizzard Beach). You can see we did a lot in our 3 weeks! Must be out by 9am else both the 27/192 and 27/I-4 are chocka! Best Theme Park - Uni's Island of Adventure. Best coaster - The Hulk (I of A) & Sheikra (BG) Best 3D - It's tough to be a bug (Animal Kingdom) & Spiderman (I of A). Best Water Ride - Dudley-Do-Rights Ripsaw Falls (I of A, very wet!) & Summit Plummit (Blizzard Beach, very high and very fast!) Best Show - Sea Worlds Sea Lion Tonight - get there early so you don't miss the warm-up act, very funny! Also Fear Factor Live (Universal Studios). Fav Restaurant - Key W Kools (on the 192) Best Experience - Discovery Cove, swimming with the dolphins. Best tip - At Universal fork out the extra $40 for the Express Plus tickets. Get on all the rides with min. queueing in all that sun. It's probably cheaper than return visits if time is limited. Other activities - Kennedy Space Center (Shuttle on pad), Premium Outlets, Florida Mall, Wonderworks, Ripleys Believe It Or Not, which were all good too when the weather was wet. Best Radio - Real Rock 101.1 WJRR, parental discretion advised! A great holiday had by all. |
I can't
believe you fitted in so much, even in 3 weeks! Sounds like you need a holiday to get over it! |

Your
villa is very nice - lots of room for all 8 of us. Four generations, 4 months old to 79 years old! The little ones loved the pool and everyone really enjoyed the 'lazy river' at the clubhouse pool. Helpful tips - Good restaurant is 'The Magic Mining Company' 4 miles along the US192 towards Disney. Very, very casual, but great steaks, prime rib and lobster. - Off the beaten path Bok Tower Gardens and 1930's mansion is 30 miles south on the US27. Have been told they have a great Christmas display, very 'hot' tour in the summer time though! - Stay away from Magic Kingdom Park on Mondays, always the most crowded day! I left 8 egg cups for you as promised, hope someone will use them. Thanks for sharing your home. |
I am so
pleased you all had such an enjoyable vacation. Thanks for your tips, I've added a link to the Bok Tower Gardens web site in our 'Golf & Activities' page as it looks such an interesting and peaceful place to visit. Many thanks for leaving the egg cups, it was very kind and thoughtful of you. |

This was
our first time renting a villa and we'll never go back to a hotel! The kids had a fabulous time between here and Regal Palms pool/water slide. We walked into the villa on our first day and fell in love with it! We've done the theme parks of course, but would HIGHLY recommend a swamp boat tour, 'Lone Cabbage' off of the 520, towards Cocoa Beach. It's about a 45 minute drive, but so much fun. We saw alligators galore, not to mention speeding through a swampy river at breakneck speed! They even serve 'gator' at their restaurant. Thanks again, and hope to be back soon! |
Our kids
love Regal Palms pool too, and it's a difficult decision between our own pool or the 'lazy river' some days! The swamp boat tour sounds awesome. After coming to America for so many years we still haven't done it all and an air boat trip is top of the list next time! |

We have
stayed in several rented Florida villas in the past and would rate yours one of the best. Location is good and because of previous experience we found that going South down US27 to the first lights; turning left to go to Champions Gate complex and then on to the I-4 there can cut driving time if going up (East) on the I-4 as the US192 can be slow at times. Local Chinnese restaurant by the Publix is great value with huge portions. Prices make UK takeaways a mockery, but then that is true of everything. Starbucks coffee at approx. 70p!! Management company at Regal Palms very efficient - we called them out twice and they were here within the hour each time, even on Sunday. If you haven't been before would recommend Epcot at night for Illuminations, fireworks and light shows don't get any better than this!! Downtown Disney is great, again especially at night. Finally go to Celebration - it's fab. Eat at the Columbia Cuban restaurant which serves fantastic food. When all else fails though, just jump in the pool and soak up the sun. Hey, this is Florida after all.... |
Wow,
thank you all so much. Complements, handy driving suggestions, tips on restaurants and entertainment, what more can we say! Come again!!! |

We've had
a fantastic holiday here in Orlando, made all the better by coming home each night to your beautiful villa. Some of the highlights of our holiday have been Discovery Cove, all the Disney Parks especially the 3D movies and the Lion King show and driving in America for the first time! Our favourite eating places have been Red Lobster, Olive Garden, Cracker Barrel, the Chinnese up the road and the Cafe at the Lake Buena Vista Factory Outlets. Hope to experience it all again some day soon. |
Delighted
that you loved the villa. You certainly packed in lots of excellent places to visit and eat. Start saving for your next trip out to Orlando! |

Enjoying
ourselves very much. The house is great. Back home we're in a foot of snow, so the sun is greatly enjoyed. The home is well equiped and comfortable. I would recommend more drawer space in the smaller bedrooms. Here for Bike Week in Daytona, an awesome time. Bikers Rule! Love the pool. Hope to be back. |
Very
pleased to hear you've had a great time and enjoyed the warm sun after all that snow! Thanks for the suggestion about the drawer space. We have fixed up some extra shelving in the two twin rooms which should help with storage. |

We had a
great time in the villa and enjoyed our hols. Discovered 'Sizzlers' - great value for money and would recommend a visit to all!! Villa is well equipped for children (our 3 year old loved villa and pool!) and would recommend to anyone with children a visit to Sea World and Animal Kingdom. Thanks. |
Ponderosa
Steak House is another good value family restuarant. The buffet breakfast sets you up for the day! Pleased you all had a fab time. |

Have had
a great, relaxing and hurricane free holiday in your villa. Spent way too much on shopping, lets hope we don't get charged too much excess. Have visited all the parks including Discovery Cove, which I would recommend to anyone. Have made good use of having the pool heated and I have probably entertained your neighbours with my Shamu impressions. We would like to recommend a couple of things to the owners; it would be nice to have some form of book with important details in such as emergency numbers, the location of the nearest chemist and supermarket, also when dustbin day is. Egg cups would be nice.. I like a dippy egg. And lastly improved lighting, we found the lounge area and patio area very dim at night. We all had a great time in your villa and would definately book again. |
Girl of
my own heart, just lead me to the shops! Pleased you had a great time, hope to welcome you again as our guest. Just to respond to some of the comments: * This is now a Welcome Book and Golf Book. We were unable to re-visit until Dec 04 after we purchased our villa and brought these out with us in Dec. * Egg cups!! Have looked everywhere we could while we were out, but with no results. However, a very kind guest has now supplied the villa with 8 egg cups! * Table lamps tend to be the main source of lighting in lounge areas, however, with dining area lights and corridor lights on this provides extra sources if required. * When we arrived in Dec we noticed the pool light was not working which does make that area dark. However, with that fixed it gives an appropriate atmosphere for outside. Thank you for your constructive comments. We are always ready to take on board new ideas and respond as and when we can. |

The
hurricane started us off with a delay, but we have loved our time in your house. The pool has been great and the house well equipped. Thank you, it's been great fun. |
Rotten
start for you with the delay, but pleased you enjoyed yourselves once you arrived! |
| Paul & Di, UK | After an
horrendous 79 hour delay (due to hurricane) we walked into your wonderfull villa. We have had a fantastic holiday. Too much to eat & drink (diet when we get back). The beds are so comfortable. Hope to come back soon. Best wishes. |
What a
delay, poor you! The King Size bed in the Master Suite was new in August 04, pleased you found it comfortable. |
