In the centre of the section of Park Farm between Burford Road and the river Windrush lies Apley Barn. This used to be a pumping station for Witney's water supply system. It was sold off by Witney Urban District Council in 1947. The two gable ends of the original building can be seen behind the modern extension. Malcolm Henderson. |
