to a change of cirmstances, two female Somali kittens are now available,
born 13th March 2008. One of these kittens has exceptional show/breed
potential, the other kitten is also of excellent quality. Click

Apologies
as I did not get time to update last weekend.
Saturday 26th
April we were at the GCCF show, Bedford and District Cat Club. We
were extremely pleased that our Abyssinian girl, Katy
won her second Certificate and Best of Breed from judge, Mr John Hansson.
Our new kitten, Katy's daughter, Vanilla Sky
did well in her first show placed first in the Open class, Best of Breed
(judge Mary Kalal) and gaining two firsts and a second in quite large miscellaneous
classes.

Fantom
wins another CACE at the FIFe Garden of England Show which now makes him
European Champion - he can go no further in the FIFe with titles.
He was also Best Adult Male in Category III.
Our Annika
at the same show won another CAP and was Best Female Neuter in Category
III. We had a brilliant day !

Yesterday
at the Capital Longhair Cat Association show (GCCF) Fantom won the Imperial
Grand Certificate, the Grand Certificate, Best of Breed and then was Best
in Show Semi-longhair adult male. His daugher Uhura won her second
CC. Annika who is neutered won her first PC and Best of Breed.
We had a great day !

the Supreme 17.11.07, Fantom wins his
second UK GCC to become UK and Imperial Grand Champion ! Also his
daughter, Uhura , wins her first CC at
the age of 9mths and 11days, just old enough to be in the adult class !

Last
Sunday 23rd September our Ro Laren became
a Champion at a TICA show. She is could be be the first Somali to
have a title in three different organisations, GFFC, FIFe and TICA.
Ro enjoyed her day at the TICA show, she didn't have time to miss her best
friend and grandmother Annika !

We
have been to our first TICA show. It was a very exciting day and
we had a great time. Deanna became
Champion and needed to final in one more ring to be a Grand Champion.
Her daughter, kitten Uhura, did really
well, Best Kitten and Second Best Kitten in the speciality rings and Fifth
Best Kitten in an All Breed ring. Both cats did really well as there
was competition from very good exhibits.

Just
back from the FIFe show in Worthing - we took four cats and they all won
their respective certificates, Fantom CACE, Deanna CACIB, Katy CACIB and
kitten Uhura won her Ex.1. Katy was nominated for BIS and Fantom
won BIV.
Also we have heard
news of Ruby Tuesday who went to live with Jackie who moved back to South
Africa . Jackie used to breed Somalis here in the UK. Click

Laren wins her third Grand Challenge Certificate at the London Cat
Club making her a Grand Champion!! Her grandmother, GRCH
Makeitso Annika Hansen also won the Reserve Imperial Grand Challenge
Certificate. We had a great day at the show which was held in Woking.

his side classes at the Suffolk & Norfolk GCCF show.
We also took our
new baby, Uhura, who did well at just over 14 weeks to win 1st, best of
breed, 1st and 2nd in two side classes.

On
Saturday the 16th March we had a great day at the Somali Club Show.
Our own Makeitso Rubytuesday, was best in show kitten !! She was
placed first and best of breed in her open class, and also won her three
miscellaneous side classes which included Best Ticked. Ruby is from a previous
litter from IGRCh Mojave's Phantom x Ch Makeitso Ro Laren born last September.

at the Wessex Cat Club show, Venus did really well, she won a Reserve Imperial
Grand Challenge Certificate, a Grand Challenge Certificate, Best of Breed
usual adult, both of her two side classes and end what was already a fantastic
day was Best of Variety Foreign adult !

The first show
for the 2007 and a great day.
Fantom
won a Reserve Imperial Grand certificate, the competetion was high in this
class, he also won another Grand Certificate and Best of Breed.
For Makeitso Rubytuesday,
(Fantom x Ro Laren, dob 18.9.06), this was
her first show and she did really well, 1st, Best of Breed, two firsts
and a third in her side classes. She was a great hit in the show
looking very cute and behaving perfectly !

Saturday 16th
December at the GCCF Maidstone & Medway cat show, Venus wins her second
Imperial Grand Certificate, plus a Grand Certificate and Best of Breed.
This is her first show since the same show last year, so she has done well
- two shows, two Imperial Certificates.
We also took Annika's
kitten, Qpid (aka Teddy) to his first show and he won first in his his
Open and Best of Breed, what a little star he is ! He has now left
for his new home. Sadly we cannot keep all the kittens and his new
home is wonderful, and we feel sure he will be very happy.
Hopefully we will
have some more kittens born in the New Year.

We were at the
Garden of England (FIFe rules) show in Maidstone this past weekend (30th
Sept and 1st Oct).
Deanna is now
a Champion !!! She won her CAC each day, was nominated for best in
show on Saturday.
Our Fantom also
did very well winning a CACE certificate each day , he was also BIV and
nominated on the Sunday.

Club show. He also won all of his side classes, making another red
card day for him !

!!! At the Abyssinian Cat Club show yesterday he won his fifth UK
Imperial Grand Challange Certificate - making him the very first adult
Somali to gain the title of Imperial Grand
Champion !! He is had a red card day

Great
day at the Somali Cat Club 2006. Fantom wins
Best Adult in Show, Imperial Grand Certificate, Grand Certificate plus
first in all his side classes.
Our Annika
wins her first Imperial Grand Certificate, Best of Breed sorrel Somali
and first in all her side classes ! Not a bad result considering
we took her along as it was the breed show!
Ro
didn't do so well, her first attempt at the Grand class but was unplaced.
She did manage two seconds in her side classes. She has the most
fantastic show temperament and enjoyed her day, meeting new people.
At the end of the day she could also cuddle up to her favourite cat, grandmother
Annika !

at the Heart of England Cat Club show in Peterborough our Ro
Laren won her third CAC making her a champion under FIFe Rules !
Also, Fantom and Annika
won CACE Certificates. This was the Abyssinian and Somali Cat
Alliance special and Fantom was overall Best in Show Somali and also BIV
ruddy Somali.

Yesterday
at the Supreme Show Fantom was a star - yet again
! He was awarded a Grand Challenge Certificate, which makes him a
Grand Champion in the GCCF. He was also awarded Best of Breed and
was in the final three for Best of Variety.
Also
Makeitso Isabella was awarded her first CC at 10 months of age, beating
our own Makeitso Ro Laren !! Isabella is a daughter of Fantom and
a younger half sister to Ro.

Latest shows - yesterday,
17th July, at a FIFe show in Thornbury, Fantom
won
a third certificate towards Grand International Champion (CAGCIB), was
Best in Variety ruddy Somali and also nominated for best in show.
(In the UK seven CAGCIB certificates are required for the title).
Annika
Hansen won her sixth certificate towards Grand International Champion
(CAGCIB) and also nominted for best in show.
Unfortunately by the
end of the day the heat in show hall had done the Somali coat no favours
and they both lost best in show to the Sphynx.
Deanna
Troi also went to the show and was Excellent 1.
