Their kittens are born in the house, normally in a box beside my bed so I can keep an eye on mother and babies from the first day.

This is Ro
She is kitten from Myim Zadi's first litter.

Ro has a fantastic personality, she loves meeting people.
She has a great show temperatment.
She gets on so well with all the cats but her favourite is her Grandmother, Annika Hansen who she simply adores!  They go everywhere together !!

Her coat is a lovely golden colour to the roots and with lots of black ticking.
She is very much like the type of her father,

Her adult coat has developed into a very rich ruddy colour without a trace of grey at the roots and excellent black ticking.

Makeitso Vanilla Sky

Pyruvate Kinase-deficiency normal

Sky is the daughter of Katy (above)
her father is Grand Champion Nile Golden Eye.

She is a very cheeky kitten, who loves a lap.
We are hoping she will have lovely Aby kittens in the future.

The photo is taken of her at 6 months of age.

Sky enjoyed her first show, the Bedford and District Cat Club.
She was placed first in two side classes and second in the other side class, as well as winning her kitten Open class.  In two of her side classes she beat the kitten that went on to be best foreign kitten that day.  So we were really pleased.

Our Annika is the queen of the Makeitso cats.  She is the cat that is in charge and all the cats respect this.  She likes nothing better than to sit on your shoulders and I am sure she uses us to get from one post to another !  She is very special.

On 18th March 2006 we took her to the Somali Cat Club Show and she won her first Imperial Grand Certificate, Best of Breed sorrel Somali and was first in all her side classes.
