I strongly suggest a visit to
realityXP's
website where I have purchsed the 2 Sandel instruments
shown left, and also the Flightline T and N instruments.
Having now taken a trial flight in a 'real' light
aircraft I find everything takes on a whole new
feel.
I have recently purchased the FlightLine N (Navigation)
instruments. I now find myself 'downgrading' my
panels to match the real plane I flew. Since not
everyone can afford Sandel instruments.
Also having now flown VFR, the Sandel instruments
seem like cheating. That said to a novice FS pilot
the instruments make finding airfields, lining
up on runways, and avoiding crashes with mountains
far less likely. The callouts on landing of altitude
are very useful on novice landing runs...
Sadly they have not yet released any updates
for FSX, however I must say that in FSX the instruments
are a whole step up on FS2004. I will keep an
for updates.
