Which cartridge is right?
Choosing the right cartridge is wholly
dependent on the tonearm fitted to your turntable and the type
of phono-stage you are using. Of course, if your phono-stage
accepts input from MM and MC, your laughing!
MM or MC? Different people will give
different arguments over which is the preferred choice. At the
end of the day, its up to you. Personally, I have gone for a
midrange MM - the Goldring 1042.

I also have another popular MM in the Shure
V15-III. I would dearly love to own a V15-V, but funds won't
permit it.

Jean Nantais recommends the
Audio Technica OC9 and Denon DL103s as
midprice options.

Before making your choice, I'd recommend that you
post a message on the "Help"
section of the forum and ask the experienced guys what would
best suit your tonearm.
