You've bought your new (well, 30 odd yr old) deck and upon stripping it, you find some worn parts.

Don't worry because replacements are available! In the UK you can always try Technical & General - they have a stock of spare bits and whilst not exactly cheap, they're at the end of a phone line or an email. I've found them to be quite a helpful bunch.
