This gallery show some of the
work
of Ena and Rod Mann.

Ena has been painting for most of her life, starting whilst
still a schoolgirl painting in oils. In more recent years, she
has taken up the challenge of watercolours and frequently
exhibits and sells her work. She joined Horwich
Art Club after she retired and enjoys the comradery and
encouragement offered by her membership.
Rod joined Ena in her painting of watercolours
when he could no longer pursue the active pursuits he'd always
enjoyed. He had been a keen mountaineer and rock-climber and in
more recent years, a cyclist. When his health let him down, he
decided to try painting, in spite of suffering a red-green
deficiency in his sight!
Both Ena and Rod enjoy painting and drawing
outdoors. They travel extensively and the paintsets always go
with them! Their paintings reflect their varied experiences. |
