ABOUT ME

I've been messing with PC's since the early 80's and was bitten by the FlightSim bug many years ago and have owned pretty much every flightsim ever released. The one which really turned me into an enthusiast was the original version of Falcon.

On 3rd July 1999, I created an online Fighter Squadron and named it the 185th Reservoir Dogs and this squadron still operates today. If you are still a Falcon fan, pay them a visit at
http://www.185th.co.uk

Other interests include website design, photography and more recently, watercolour painting (although I'm rubbish at it).

I live in Bolton, UK, work as a GM of a vehicle-security company called Armaplate and am married with two teenage brats :-)

MISSION REQUEST
New "Mission Request" Launched
Fri Jun 25,  2004
Today, a new page went up on the site allowing you to request a tailor made mission to suit your flying skills and your preference for a particular mission type. Go take a look at it and see what you think. You can also use this form to leave feedback on any of the missions you've downloaded from here. More here...

MISSION PAGE
New Mission Page Launched
Fri Jun 25,  2004
Lots of people on the forums seem to be searching for single-player missions, so I thought I'd start uploading a few of my own. None of them can be considered "hardcore", so most people will be able to complete the missions (even if it takes a couple of attempts). More here...

FIRST VIDEO
Lomac911 (aka Lest We Forget)
Wed Jun 9,  2004
Having received some OEM software which came with my PC, called Pinnacle Studio, I decided to have a go at creating my first Lock-On movie. The movie editing software was extremely easy to figure out - very intuitive, with a great user-interface. The hardest part of making the movie was actually capturing the videos in Lock-On!
I used FRAPS V2.10 at half-size, 25fps and turned down the ingame gfx settings to low. The version for download here is a cut-down version in terms of quality. I saved the video as a Real Player file and made it fairly small-screen.

I tried to create something a little different from the norm with this movie and its style may not be liked by everyone, although if nothing else, it should get the old emotions going.

BIG CATS, TAMED?
Sun Apr 11,  2004
Being a user of the fabulous £250(!) Cougar Hotas (thanks to my generous wife), I intend to create a page dedicated to this monster. If you have any tips/tricks to share, drop me a line. I'm also going to explain how to make the most out of the MasterPilots, including programming them and creating attractive insert-cards.
