This site traces the story of my Hovercraft - an Airlift Mustang AS600A.
I imported the craft into the UK from Australia in late 2004. Since that time the Hovercraft has been the subject of a thorough overhaul.

Well - I've finally sold my house and am ready to move into my new pad!
My new home consists of three storeys - the lowest of which will accommodate the Mustang and the workshop. I hope the neighbours are nice.... ;-0
I have for the last two years been heavily involved with Hovercraft Rental - the only MCA authorised private commercial Hovercraft operator in the UK and possibly Europe. The craft is an Air Vehicles Tiger 12 which has had several major upgrades to boost its performance way beyond its original specification - and to satisfy ongoing legal requirements.
This year looks to be busier than ever with many events already pre-booked. It gives me enormous pleasure to be involved with this most rare venture which brings the Hovercraft concept to the public stage.
Thankyou to all of the people who have mailed me with support and signed the Guestbook. It's reassuring to know there are like minded folk out there who are just as passionate (insane) as myself ;-)
