Start off with one length of wire (example 20m band) 70’ 0” Long cut in half 2 x 35’0” one of these length’s cut in half again giving you 1 x 35’0 & 2 x17’6” The long piece becomes the reflector & the 2 short piece's become the driven element.Use insolating tape to fix the wire to the bamboo spreaders. A 1.1 Balun is used at the Antenna if feed with 50 ohm coax.Each spreader need’s to be 11’72 from the centre to accommodate 20 meter’s Divide original length of wire for position on spreader by 6 i.e. 20m =70’0”divide by 6 = 11.7” The wires connect to through the holes in the buttons and solder the wire back onto it's self.(see button pic belowe)
