In orbit around the human homeworld of Earth, the asteroid of Washwater circles about like a second moon. Owned entirely by the German weapons corporation Krupp, the asteroid has long been a daily part of life for people of the planet and a home for many of the corporation's workers. Unbeknownst to those living on it, a top secret Krupp project is about to put them all, and many more, at risk.
