Description: The Peregrine Class Destroyer was created to fly as support for Mek/Skimmer transport ships that do not have enough armament to guard itself from oncoming attacks. This destroyer class is the original type of the numerous Accipteron escort ship designs that exist. While it isn't very heavily armed, the Peregrine Class does have weapons that can cause damage to incoming enemy ships. The weapons that are used for this purpose are its triple-barreled Plasma Cannons and its Cruise Missile Rack. The Peregrine Class also comes armed with four Phalanx Vulcan Photon Cannons, used to take out enemy Meks, Skimmers, or even the occasional Gyran suicide drone swarm.
