Description: The Kestral Class Space Carrier is the predecessor of the Hawkhaven Class Battlecarrier. Whereas the Hawkhaven Class was made to be able to protect itself on mission with its large array of weaponry, the Kestral Class was made to carry more Meks and/or Skimmers, while being protected by its escort ships. For its weaponry, the Kestral is armed with eight Phalanx Vulcan Photon Blasters and two Cruise Missile Racks. The Kestral Class Space Carrier's major objective in a battle is to act as a safe haven for up to forty Meks and/or Skimmers, but even with the heavy armor of its hull, it can become a death trap for its crew and passengers due to its small set of weapons. Therefore, a Kestral is always accompanied by at least two to three escort ships.
