For many years he has worked as a Training Director at the Chiron Centre for Body Psychotherapy and knows the field of psychotherapy training from the inside. Before that he worked for six years as a tutor on self-directed counselling courses in London, as well as teaching on a counselling at Oxford University, and therefore is also familiar with the counselling end of the spectrum. For a couple of years he was External Examiner at the Counselling Course at City University. Some of his articles have been published in BACP's journal 'therapy today' and he has been a presenter at BACP conferences. He can bring that experience and expertise to organisations, trainings and services within the field, also bringing psychological rather than purely organisational considerations to bear.
