Re the 9" Square MDF, I cut it out from a bigger bit, then drilled a hole in the middle to match the mast diameter - I then painted the square to waterproof it. Have another look at the picture.
Aluminium tupe cut into 4" sections then split down the middle and to fix fibreglass poles on 9" square MDF Have another look at the picture.
You will need a good roll of solder, wire cutters & strippers, a drill and 3mm drill bits and a bit of TLC during the process
I used the large qty of cable ties to fix the cables to the fibreglass poles. The large number was used as there was a lot of adjustment to be done in the first instance - so I went thru a few. The larger ties were used as anchor supports and the smaller ties to fix the cables.
Dave's site shows the ends of each loop joined. My loops are not joined. Have a look at the picture.
I started with the 20M band first then working my way thru to the 10M band. There is a little bit of adjustment to be done on each band when you add another.
