		--------------------------------------------------- Tournament Update Thank you to all teams who took part in this years event, below are the successful teams from the 2009 Signol Athletic Tournament Under 7's Winners - Spurley Hey Under 8's Winners - Reddish Vulcans A Under 9's Winners - Stockport Junior Blues Under 11's Winners - Chaddy End Under 12's Winners - Cheadle & Gatley Under 13's Winners - Stockport Junior Blues Under 14's Winners - Mauraders FC B Also the winner of the £100 raffle prize was Mr Bryan Warburton who was supporting Stockport Junior Blues U13's and he has chosen to receive £100 worth JD Sports vouchers. --------------------------------------------------- Football Scout Hoax... Recently one Sunday morning an Under 12's team was training at Deva Playing fields in Poynton when a man approached the manager stating that he was a scout for Manchester United... He asked permision to watch the game and initially came across as plausible but certain issues did not seem correct. After the training session the manager contacted Manchester United FC directly and found out that this man has no connection with the club and the mobile number he gave was incorrect. The incident was reported to Cheshire Police who are currently investigating. Please be aware that any person purporting to be a scout from a premiership club or indeed any football club MUST carry I.D with them at all times and should contact the club concerned prior to attending any match. The man is described as approx 5'8" tall, mid to late 40's, stocky build, grey hair and has a small facial tear tatoo under each eye.
