News

I've decided to add a "news" page to the site where I can list "whats new" as well as any other changes or interesting/important information.

I have now added numbers in brackets after each country name showing how many coins I have so far put on that page. At the moment things still look pretty sparce but that should be changing rapidly. Also the coins that are already on here will continually have new information added as and when I find it out. You may notice Gold and Silver do not have a number after them, simply because all those coins appear else where under their relevant country (e.g. Krugerrands under South Africa). Other new pages will be appearing shortly in the "About..." section, containing useful (hopefully) information about coins in general.

Added coins from Eire (7) and another Isle of Man coin (small 50p).

Added a section on the history of the word pound and the symbol (£).

Added lots more coins, site has over 100 coins now. Sadly have not been able to add many pictures to the site yet so less than a quarter of the coins now have pictures. I WILL put pictures up as soon as I can but I can't be sure when that will be since it takes so long to scan them all...

Adding loads of coins now, but only in the most basic form so little or no useful information on them. My intention is to just get them up so I can later add information on the coins.

I will be away for two weeks now (yipee!) so this site won't see any more updating for a bit

I've now put up all the Euro coins I have at the moment (with pictures!), but they will get added to as friends/relatives return from holidays :-)

A rather belated update but I'm now adding lots of pictures particularly Eire, the Channel Islands, Gibraltar and the Falklands.

Been too busy to update recently but a email question on irish coins prompted some research the fruits of which is now on the Eire page.
