Feedback from previous camps
Giridhari: It’s been a very peaceful site. I appreciate all the hard work of the organisers and the participants. I’ve been able to have a break and some quiet time for myself. It’s opened me up and broken down barriers of judgements.
Punya Sloka: I’ve appreciated the variagatedness of people, just like in the spiritual world. I’ve felt I’ve been getting to know everybody in a friendly and intimate way. You are all very special people associating in a free, open way. This has got to grow. We need to be together.
Bhogini: My realisation has been that no matter what efforts go in before hand a camp is the people that come to it. Once the infrastructure is in place it’s the magic of who’s here that makes it happen. It’s been wonderful.
Guna: I had lots of plans for the kid’s area but time seemed to go wobbly. I’m ready to start to prepare for next year. One highlight of course has been the temperature.
Rasal: After my traumatic start (Raman breaking his leg) I had to slow down and not expect. My thanks to Satya and Sam who looked after Raman in such a joyful, spiritual and loving way. Teenagers are our future.
Devaki Priya: Thanks to all, to the organisers and everybody else. I have felt loved and valued
Jane: My son has never been so happy at a camp before. I loved sharing food, it’s a real sacrament.
Madhava: This has been magical and I am happy to have shared it with everyone.
Radha Priya: It’s too soon to end!
Kishor: I have found it relaxing and pleasant. Time has gone all too quickly. I think this is the beginning of something big.
Murali: It’s been a really pleasant surprise. I’ve found so much good stuff in people. When I first came to Krishna Consciousness it seemed to me like a family reunion. Now I feel the same again, the beginning of an eternal festival with community support and sharing. Let’s do this regularly.
Janaki: It was a very enlivening experience for me -
Mathura: Thanks to the committee for stepping into the unknown to pull this together. This is historical – there is no institution organising it. Small is Beautiful. Unity in Diversity.
Clive: The sunshine and heat helped to slow the pace. I feel delighted.
Maitreya: My respects to everybody who have already said what I wanted to say!
Mahakratu das: Well this years Krishna Camp (2007) was simply a fantastic experience. The camaradare and fellowship of all who attended was unprecedented. The interaction between adults and kids and the entertainment was superb. And what to speak of the swimming days in such a beautiful spot. Highly recommend that all devotes should get along at least for a day or weekend next year.
