Seat restoration....

seat1 seat2
Old damaged seat cover removed and pan ready for sand-blasting and painting. Stainles trim was dented, so I used a pin puch to knock the dents proud of the surface - then I linished them back flat and used a buffer to polish it. You cant even tell it was ever damaged! Seat pan back from painters and foam re-fitted using 'No more nails' Plastic trim cleaned and re-fitted. I sprayed the foam with a water-repellent silicon sealer.
pins seat4
NOS seat pins and washers. Lucky find. Heres a seat cover and strap I brought from America. It was in excellent condition and just need a thorough scrub with a brillo pad to clean up the ingrained dirt and freshen the logo. I intend to mask and roller the logo with the correct white ink.
