Biomechanics & Orthotics

(Please click on underlined words or phrases for more information)

A faulty relationship between the bones, joints and muscles of the foot and leg, can cause stress and pain elsewhere in the body, especially in the feet, knees, hips, back and neck.

These disorders may be successfully diagnosed by a Biomechanical Assessment - a technique used to carry out a detailed examination and measurement of lower limb joint and muscle function.

Once diagnosed, the disorder may be corrected by the use of individually prescribed Orthotics.

From the prescription, the Orthotics are precisely made to reposition the foot structure to achieve optimum skeletal balance, thereby reducing the stress and pain on the joints.

The Orthotic shell is made of carbon fibre. It is light weight, and carries a lifetime guarantee.
