An attempt at colourising and slightly
altering Ping's image from the 'In Search of Lost Wings'
series. The original is a sad image, showing Ping without
wings of her own, collecting the cast-off feathers of the
other characters. I decided to re-interpret that more
optimistically - Ping wouldn't let a little thing like
not having real wings stop her. She's analysing the
feathers and picking a style she likes, before growing
wings of her own. She is still tethered to the ground at
present, though, because we can't completely escape our
own nature. I liked the 'liquifying' transformation effect on her hair when I was making it, but in retrospect it doesn't look very good. Original image: [431] - DPD: Glancing Upwards |

My first colourisation of a complete
MT strip. Piro in a pink bear suit confronted by both
Mami and Asako - cuteness overload! I'm still very
pleased with the outcome of this one, though I really
needed to do something with the eyes in panels 2, 4 and 6

strip 457 (above). Mami and Asako were being referred to
as 'Team Schoolgirl' in Story Discussion, and Mami's
earnest expression and pointing finger inspired this

Largo in full-on l33t mode as he crushes fanboys in [464] - 4659 7448, complete with manic grin. As Largo's slipping into his online avatar, I tried to give the image the look-and-feel of the characters from the film 'Tron'. |
