This web site is aimed at the
genealogical search for my ancestors, who-ever they may be.
Good, bad, or indifferent they are family.

The name Baird
originates, possibly, in Scotland so I set myself a goal of proving
where and when, in relation to my immediate ancestors, our family left
Scotland. Maybe then I shall discover the reason why also. I am still
working towards that goal, and, as the site title suggests, without THEM
there would be no US, so hopefully, the site is in
honour of those who went before.
Alongside is a copy of one of the
variations of the Baird Clan Crest -
the page watermark being another.
I hope some of the planned information
on the site will help others find their ancestors.
