From time to time my wife and I take short breaks in Scotland and other parts of the U.K.
Usually in Scotland we end up in a graveyard or two, as you do, and look for BAIRD graves which I make a note of the M.I. and if we have a camera with us I photograph the monument in the vain hope that I will capture the inscription.
I make no apologies for the quality of my camera-work but hasten to say that the inscription is as I have transcribed it and although I try to record it accurately it should only be used as a guide to find the monument and hopefully the last resting place of our ancestors.
Occasionally I come across a monument belonging to other families and because the monument has a special interest to me I will photograph and record the inscription and hopefully show it in this section.
