Maps Of the U.K.

Below are links to copies of maps of the U.K showing the county set-up pre 1974 when local government re-organisation took place in England and Wales and a map of the resulting organisation, if that is what you can call it.
The maps of Ireland shows Eire and Northern Ireland and the setup in Northern Ireland after 1974.
Scotland shows the counties before re-organisation and the set up after.
The map of Manchester (WITHOUT ROADS ??) shows Manchester and Salford and some of the out lying towns and villages up to a radius of approximately 15 miles
These are quite large jpgs to retain the quality (poor though it may be) so follow the copying instructions at the top left corner of the map and print/save copies. (they are A4 size)
