I was going to call this section FAMOUS BAIRDS but it sounds like a brand of whisky and though some members of the family have been known to enjoy a "wee dram", I decided to put some of what I call WELL KNOWN BAIRDS in here because,whilst the members of our family are maybe not famous in-so-much-as, they are not world wide known, here are some that are.
