Welcome to the Grimsby LIVES First Responder website.

As an additional frontline resource available to the East Midlands Ambulance Service, we are volunteers that cover a large area of Grimsby including Wybers Wood, Willows, Healing, Nunsthorpe, Yarborough Road, Cromwell Road and the Littlecoates Road areas of town, we can also be called out to as far as Immingham and Stallingborough.

We are totally self funded and therefore rely on fund raising and kind donations from local people, business, and organisations to help purchase equipment and keep the scheme operational.

Thank you for visiting our site from all the Team, Mick Grimsby LIVES Coordinator

Trained in Basic Life Support CPR and the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) we are dispatched to life-treating emergencies in our local community by East Midlands Ambulance Control (EMAS). Intermediate responders are called to RTA's, trauma, paediatric and assisting the paramedic.

The Lincolnshire Integrated Voluntary Emergency Service (LIVES) is one of the largest charities in the UK, with over 86 active groups.

The Grimsby LIVES Group is one of the busiest attending more than 690 call outs a year.

This website aims to give you more information on the role of First Responders and how we operate within your local community.

*We are looking for help with our fuel cost at the moment this is funded by our volunteers at an approximate yearly cost of £1,300*
