Mike's
Comics Links was created by my good friend Mike McLean, who
cleverly made a comprehensive comics links page part of his degree
in librarianship.
Check out the site for Asylum Books & Games, which has originals
for sale by myself, Gary Erskine, Steve Yeowell, Colin MacNeill,
Will Simpson, and many more!
Scott McCloud is the author
of the seminal Understanding Comics. His website contains further
musings on the subject, plus his experiments in "pageless" online
comics.
The Alleged
Literature website features comics by Jeremy Dennis, and information
about the CAPTION small press convention held in Oxford every
year. The CAPTION photo archive contains lots of pics by me, not
to mention my Space:1999 spoof strip for CAPTION 1999.
The Comics Forum website contains articles from
the magazine of the same name; especially recommended is Guy Lawley's
"Just How Stupid Were the Skrulls?"
Large
Cow is the website of Britain's national treasure, Hunt Emerson.
Featured are his comic strips and cartoons, not to mention a link
to Dogstar's groovy shareware comics fonts.
Visit the Hotel Fred to see the wonderful work of Roger
Langridge. Possibly the most gorgeous-looking website I've seen,
with a much better links page than this one!
Gary Erskine's site contains not only a gallery
of his best work, but the amazing 3D Ignition City.
Not only a fine colourist, Marie Javins was an editor
at Marvel for years. See her amazing Wall of Cows, drawn by many of the industry's
greats!
Nicolas Papaconstantinou has had the excellent
taste to put one of my sketches on his website. While you're there,
read his manifesto, then run away, very fast...
Comicraft
create most of the lettering fonts used in modern comics. Expensive,
but the best.
Sleaze Castle is one of my favourite comics
- enter the strange world of Dave McKinnon & Terry Wiley,
and buy their stuff!
Warren Ellis is the man of the moment! Visit Smoke Damage to find out why...
Fun Stuff
I can't recommend Cat-scan thoroughly enough. Go there!
