1) Scan in at same size, 600dpi, Line Art (Bitmap) for sharp,
contrasty scans.
2) Convert to greyscale.
3) Convert to 300dpi.
4) If scanning pages in sections, increase the size of one of
the files for each page, using Canvas Size...
5) Drag the other file across using the move tool.
6) Reduce Layer Opacity to help align images.
7) Return Layer Opacity to 100% and flatten image.
8) Scale to same size as printed page using Measure tool and Image
Size...
