Virtual Blueline: Setting up outlines to be filled with colour

Now we'll clear the existing outlines and set up new ones to be filled with colour.

In the Select Menu, pick Select All.

Make sure the background colour (at the bottom of the Toolbar) is white. In the Edit Menu, pick Clear to erase the image.

In the Select Menu, pick Deselect.

Go to the Swatches Palette (if you can't see it, try Show Swatches in the Window Menu). Pick a dark blue or dark magenta colour (Recommended colours circled in green). This is the colour you'll use to make the outlines on the base layer.

In the Select Menu, pick Load Selection...
From the Load Selection... dialog box, pick Outlines from the Channels: pull-down list.
The outlines will appear as a set of moving dotted outlines ("marching ants").
