Holly was a captain within Sandleford Warren, who in the film wasn't happy that Hazel and Fiver came to request a meeting with the chief while he was eating.  Nothing was seen by Holly until after the rabbits had made it to Watership Down, after which he informed them of Efrafa after being trapped there before escaping.
