Hazel is the leader of the bunch, voiced by John Hurt.  Being fed up of the warren at Sandleford he listens to his brother who has a vision of its destruction and decides to leave.  Over in the film you see that he ends up becoming the main leader of the group although Bigwig does seem at first to resent it but eventually at the end of the film, Hazel is seen to be Chief Rabbit.
