STOLEN and FOUND

These two kittens were stolen from our cattery in a nasty and callous attack on Tuesday night this week (October 7 2008) This action has upset us all very deeply, we have been let down by someone we showed trust too.

Update: 12-10-2008

The kittens were returned following a sighting in Moulscoomb yesterday. apart from the trauma of being taken and several attempts to be sold the kittens appear unharmed. We are very pleased, clearly and although no further details can be given at this time it is with sad hearts that we continue with the purchase of CCTV systems and upgraded security at the cattery to try and prevent this from happening in the future.

Update: 20-12-2008

Indeed just before Christmas the CCTV proved invaluable. Intruders were captured on film attempting to gain entry to the cattery and there actions reported immediately to the police. We have discovered there identities and will continue to monitor activities. The garage door was finally installed this week so we have strengthened ourselves and all sheds are now padlocked. Further measures are planned but add to the costs of maintenance of an already stretched budget.
