The Piers of Brighton.
Often derided as tacky, cheap and cheerful (certainly not cheap any more!) Brighton pier is one of Brighton's' most outstanding landmarks. There is more entertainment to be had here than slot machines. The starlings often flock in the summer evenings over both piers but you can get stunning displays on this pier too.
