Naslite V2 comes in a few flavours, each booting from a different device, HDD, USB, CD ROM.
A New Floppy based version is currently in development, its name is NANONAS. for further information check out the serverelements website.

I have been using Naslite+ since v1.0 CDD version then I upgraded to the USB version v1.5 and now I am using currently using V2.06 USB.

I have 2 NAS Box's one is my main server, serving 5 Laptops, 2 Windows pc's and 2 Xbox's for streaming media files. The specs on my main server are a Asus motherboard GA311 Gig nic Card. 1x300gb pata Maxtor HD 2x200gb pata Maxtors and 2x500gb Sata Maxtors 1x80gb pata Maxtor. 512mb DDR Ram and a 1500mhz CPU. Powered by a 530 Watt psu. The OS is on a 32mb Compact Flash Card brought of ebay for a few pounds. The CF card is run from a USB card reader mounted in the floppy slot. The server is enclosed in a 4u Server Case also brought off ebay.

My second Nas is for testing only, it consists of a Abit Kt7A Raid Motherboard. 4x80gb Maxtor, floppy disk drive for the kicker as this board does not boot from USB, and a 32x CD Rom Drive. 512mb sdram. 1133 AMD cpu. The case is a 4u Server Case.

The network is upgraded to gigabit, using Netgear GA311 network cards, and a GS105 Switch and cat6 cables thoughout.
